Gary Dobson Construction has been providing quality home improvements to Contra Costa homeowners since 1988. Our company's focus is on residential remodels and additions. Our goal is to bring to life the customer's vision and at the same time make the home more energy efficient and durable. We emphasize green building techniques and encourage the use of environmentally responsible materials

Going "green" does more than help preserve the planet's natural resources - it also creates a living environment that is more healthful for the homeowner and his or her family. It also saves costs on utilities.
After his service in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician, Gary Dobson graduated from UC Berkeley then spent 10 years as a community organizer. It was after all of this that he found his passion for working with people and helping better their lives. His care for the environment led him to become a Certified Green Building Professional and a member of Build It Green. He is also a certified Green Points Rater - able to evaluate new homes for how "green" they are based on a State of California set of standards.
